The former chapel is situated on the north side of the main road in the centre of Tolpuddle, opposite Orchard Meadow park. Due to the condition of the building it is currently not possible to enter the former chapel. The building consists of one room which is viewable from the outside, however the Trust request that if you visit the site, you remain on the pavement and do not encroach on the driveway to the west of the building. At times we hold events when viewing inside the building over a stable door is possible. For details of these events please see the Upcoming events page. If you have a school or other group wishing to find out more about the building and its renovation, please use our Contact form and we will be pleased to discuss how we can help.

The old chapel is situated in the middle of Tolpuddle between the modern Methodist Chapel and the Martyrs Inn. Other sites of interest in the village are the Martyrs’ Museum, the Martyrs’ tree and the grave of James Hammett.
