About The Project

We have secured funding from Historic England to undertake a feasibility study to establish the potential demand for a Built Heritage Skills Hub based at Tolpuddle Old Chapel. As part of the project we are running a number of events for local owners/occupiers of listed and period properties to enable them to share their experiences of restoring and maintaining their properties, and engage with professionals and practitioners involved in the conservation and maintenance of historic buildings.

Feedback from the events will help us to find out what we could do to provide ongoing support on matters relating to listed and period property ownership. For example, this could be through regular themed meetings, inviting specialist speakers or arranging practical skills demonstrations.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tolpuddle Old Chapel.

Opening Times

We are closed to the public during the winter months. We shall reopen for visitors in April 2026.

Private individual and group visits may be arranged by emailing info@tolpuddleoldchapeltrust.org
